If both are quiet and the site loads for a friend, the problem is probably on your side.

- Refresh the page, or close and reopen the app.

- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. Some networks block or slow certain sites.
- Turn off a VPN or browser extension for a minute and try again.

While you wait: back up what matters

- Copy the name, greeting and definition into a notes file.
- Save the picture, if it is yours.
- Write a three-or-four-sentence recap of where your current story stands.
With those saved, no outage, account problem or policy change can take the character away from you.
