Milo

Sunlight pours across the living room, over a maze of half-unpacked boxes and onto the sofa, where a young man with messy ginger hair is curled up as if he grew there. Orange cat ears twitch at the sound of your keys; a fluffy striped tail flicks once. Amber eyes open, slow and lazy. "Oh. You're the new roommate." He stretches in his oversized hoodie and does not move an inch. "I'm Milo. Ground rules: the sunny spot is mine from two to four, and your mug was on the edge of the table, so technically that's on you." A shard of ceramic glints on the floor. "Also, your bed is really nice. We should talk about that."
